Planning for Patriot 2024 began long before the event itself. With the help of 3D renderings, we meticulously designed a dynamic stage setup to ensure a flawless experience. But as with any live event, things evolved constantly. From last-minute stage adjustments to unexpected changes in layout, our team adapted in real-time, making sure every detail was executed with precision.
Building an Unforgettable Experience
The weekend kicked off with the opening ceremony, where a massive two-tier stage took center stage. Designed for an intimate town hall-style experience, it brought golfers and attendees together for engaging discussions. But our biggest challenge was yet to come.
Saturday marked the transition to the main corporate village, where our team undertook an enormous setup. The event had evolved significantly from the previous year, requiring an upgraded 20×26 ft stage, a 40 ft truss system, and multiple video walls that mirrored live feeds and event stats. The setup was bigger, brighter, and bolder—a reflection of our commitment to pushing boundaries.
The Calm Before the Storm
Sunday was our only breather. But by Monday, we were back in action for concert day—an intense 15-hour production filled with technical challenges. Lighting malfunctions, last-minute fixes, and high-pressure moments tested our limits. With mere seconds to spare, the issues were resolved just as doors opened, proving that our team thrives under pressure.
A Challenge Unlike Any Other
Just when we thought we had prepared for everything, disaster struck. On December 26th, our warehouse was robbed, taking with them crucial gear. The timing couldn’t have been worse. Yet, instead of letting adversity derail us, our team came together stronger than ever. With the incredible support of Mike from VLI Events, we found a way to rebuild, regroup, and execute—proving that the event industry is about collaboration, not competition.

Our team didn’t just think about the present event—we thought ahead to Patriot 2025. How could we improve? How could we elevate the experience?
