Family Owned Wedding Venue
Started in 2020 by the Bailey family, The Willow is an All-inclusive wedding venue in Surprise, Arizona. It functions as a wedding venue during the September-May season, leaving the hottest months as a rest period for the venue.

About The Owners
The Bailey family, spearheaded by Brent Bailey, are West-Valley natives. They have been in the area for a long time and decided it was time that the West-Valley had a venue that embraced the desert landscape.
In a quote from the owners, “The Willow is a family owned and operated venue that was opened in the West Valley after our family planned two weddings in the Phoenix area and saw the need for this kind of space on our side of town!
Our property showcases the beauty of the Sonoran Desert in all directions, a naturally beautiful canvas to create a couples’ dream day.
Our staff loves working alongside the incredible team of preferred vendors we’ve partnered with to make the wedding day seamless and joyful for each couple”.

The Vision for The Willow
In an early tour of the venue, one of the owners, Brock Bailey, mentioned that he envisioned the property likened to be The Paseo of the West Valley. Couples searching for a venue are sure to have seen The Paseo in their hunt, with its gorgeous views of the Superstition Mountains and Lost Dutchman State Park. Though, that is where the comparisons end, as The Willow brings a completely different vibe for events.
Sonoran Desert & Mountain Views
As mentioned, The Willow is nestled in an area of Sonoran mountains in the north-western region of the valley. The property itself sits on 6 acres of land.
You really feel the aura of the desert as you enter the service road and drive past the towering families of Saguaro cactus. You can even expect to run into wildlife, like the occasional coyote howling or slithering desert snake (don’t worry, they can’t climb over the walls surrounding the property).
Directions to The Willow Wedding Venue
You can find your way to the venue by taking the Loop-303 to Grand Avenue (US 60) in northern Surprise. Then, exit on 163rd Ave and go north for a few miles which will get you to the property’s service road. The best part is that once you make it to the service road, there are helpful flags for you to find your way directly to the venue.

This is where they have bundled services such as bartending, chairs, venue rental, and disk jockey (DJ services) together for couples.
This way, couples on a budget can have quality vendors without breaking the bank. Also, they have one of the only affordable wedding venues in Arizona with desert views.
The Willow has also stated that one of their goals is to support “West Side Vendors”, meaning that the majority of their all inclusive team is made up of West Valley event vendors. We LOVE this, as we are a west side team and have a number of events there each month.
